A fun and social way to enjoy flower arranging with seasonal British flowers grown on our farm. First Friday and Sunday of the month from June to October.
Each month we will work with different techniques, forms and styles. Using traditional and modern floristry techniques to create natural displays, which let the flowers sing. As a 'foam free' florist, we will be demonstrating sustainable alternatives to using floral foam. Plenty of opportunities for questions. Materials, flowers and refreshments provided, for two of the sessions you will be asked to bring a vase or dish from home to use with your arrangement. Book for all 5 or individual weeks. Spaces limited to a small group size.
Sessions include: Creating a hand-tied bouquet, crafting button holes and corsages, building a vased arrangement and experimenting with an Ikebana inspired arrangement
Suitable for beginners and those with some floristry experience who would like to refresh or expand their floristry skills.
